I agree that those in the media should watch their language. I also don't appreciate being called a bitch by a national network. Maybe they should apologize by not airing GCB again. This double standard must stop.

I'm with you, Sherrie. I have seen people with binders that could pass for operations manuals in a giant corporation. Besides, that real estate at the front of the cart is precious. You can't toss some things just anywhere in the buggy!

Yes...this shirt is it. I was so thrilled to find my first one (white, of course) at Belk on a sale day. They also come in light blue and pink (standard business fare) -- and they've added some brighter solid colors, as you'll see at the bottom of the link provided above in the post.. Also note that the french cuffs are optional, and they come in plus sizes, too. Even at full price, this is a true Find. Get one and love it.

It's so nice to hear from you, and especially to know that some of the suggestions are "teacher approved." This new rule has put us all into an awkward position. Just know that we appreciate what you do, even if the rules have made it harder for us to show it in a tangible way.

Thanks for writing this post. As a teacher, I consider teaching a great job and getting run over regularly by the legislature is disheartening. I am not likely to let a gift card to Starbucks influence me when it comes to grades but the powers that be think we teachers are easily swayed. You have presented some great ideas here.

Welcome to Birmingham! Glad we connected on Twitter. Most neighborhoods are leaving trick-or-treating on Monday, the 31st. There are lots of community-type Halloween events going on through the weekend, though.

I was at this party and DJ Lance Rock did an awesome job! I was not familiar with Yo Gabba Gabba but still enjoyed the show because he had so much energy! The smile on the kiddos faces were priceless!!!

Good point about the three cent markdowns - that's the other trigger that makes shoppers crazy if we're not careful. That .97 ending really does mess with our heads, doesn't it?

Target is absolutely HORRIBLE about this and makes me so angry. most of the time their stuff is marked down by 3 cents.
